Dr Kam Fanaian, BDS
Principal Dentist & Owner
Dr Kam Fanaian has been dedicated to helping patients smile since he began his dental career in 1997. After graduating from Manchester University in the UK, he moved to Australia in 2001 to pursue his passion for dentistry.
In Sydney, he quickly built strong relationships with his colleagues, becoming the Clinical Director for the Principal Dental Clinic for NIB Health Funds, where he led a team of 14 dentists and three hygienists in delivering top-quality care.
In 2004, Dr Kam and his family relocated to Perth, where he teamed up with his longtime friend, Dr Ali Essfahani, to bring their shared vision—Dental on George—to life.
With a focus on cosmetic and biological dentistry, including invisible orthodontics, Dr Kam is committed to staying at the forefront of his field. He continuously enhances his skills through postgraduate education to ensure his patients receive the best in dentistry. His longstanding affiliation with the work of Eric Davis and Paul Alexander allows him to offer customised, holistic healthcare.
Outside of the practice, Dr Kam enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and enjoys weekends filled with family time, golf, football and the occasional oil painting.
Dr Ali Essfahani, BDSc
Principal Dentist & Owner
Dr Ali Essfahani is passionate about delivering the best in dental care. His dedication to his patients has driven him to invest much time and energy into advancing his skills, particularly in cosmetic dentistry. He strongly believes in staying current with the latest techniques and technology, so his practice constantly evolves to offer the best care possible.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Perth, Dr Ali graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2000. His shared commitment to dental excellence with Dr Kam Fanaian brought their vision of Dental on George to life.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr Ali enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He’s also a big sports fan, with football, golf, swimming and cycling among his favourites.
Stacey
Hygienist
Stacey first came to Dental on George as a patient over ten years ago, and it wasn’t long after that she joined our team. Stacey always strives to help her patients feel cared for and valued after each appointment. She always finds it incredibly rewarding when her patients feel more confident in their dental care and their smiles.
Bringing up a young family, Stacey feels this is the perfect work environment for her. When she’s not at work, Stacey enjoys quality time with her loved ones, catch-ups with good friends and quiet moments in front of Netflix with a glass of wine.
Sam
Accounts Manager
Sam has been working as an accounts manager at Dental on George since it opened its doors in 2007. She holds a degree in secondary education and completed studies in accounting through Tafe. As a child, she wanted to work at the zoo with animals and, in later years, wanted to be a teacher—and achieved this goal! Now, she uses her exceptional skills and experience to help our dental clinic run smoothly.
Sam is a keen cyclist and a member of the Tour De Cure, a cycling group that rides and fundraises for cancer research, patient support and prevention projects around Australia. She also enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters, her husband and their dog, Jaxon. She enjoys taking time out with her family to holiday in Bali and other parts of Asia as it's a close destination, and she's not too keen on flying.
Lorraine
Front Office Coordinator
Lorraine joined Dental on George in November 2016 as a front office coordinator. She grew up in rural WA and enjoys bush-walking, international cooking and Ballroom/Latin American dancing. With a passion for travel, Lorraine has hiked the Inca Trail (Peru) and the Walk of the Gods (Amalfi Coast, Italy), and she has volunteered in Vietnam with an organization providing orphans and disadvantaged children with dental care.
With three children, all of adult age, Lorraine enjoys spending time with her young grandchildren.
Munyee
Front Office Coordinator and Dental Assistant
Munyee joined the dental industry in New Zealand in 2010 and joined Dental on George in 2016 as a front office coordinator. She has since switched back to dental assisting, but you can still find her at reception once in a while.
Growing up in New Zealand, Munyee loves the outdoors, so camping and travelling are her favourite things to do, along with socialising. You will also find her snorkelling at the beach on sunny days, painting or cooking some delicious Asian cuisine.
Jeanette
Front Office Coordinator
Jeanette joined Dental on George in 2020 as part of our front office team. Growing up in Wales, she is very passionate about rugby and makes a mean Welsh cake. Jeanette used to be a line dance instructor but has now become quite busy spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
She loves a good movie and quite often gets the train with Lorraine to Raine Square on a Friday evening (obviously, if there's no footy).
Silke
Dental Assistant
Silke joined Dental on George in 2009 as a dental assistant, bringing with her training from Germany. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog, Topaz.
Growing up in Germany, Silke always wanted to become a dental technician. She still enjoys visiting her homeland for holiday and visiting Thailand.
